12TH ANNUAL TREASURE ON THE MOUNTAIN

[Snowshoe, WV] – The Snowshoe Foundation has announced a successful conclusion of their main fundraising event of 2021, the 12th Annual Treasure on the Mountain Raffle.

Despite a challenging year for the world, our nation, and local communities, the Snowshoe Foundation’s 12th Annual Treasure on the Mountain Raffle came back stronger than ever. With 5,000 tickets sold in record-breaking time, Treasure on the Mountain event attendees took over Snowshoe Mountain for a day of amazing prizes, exciting side raffles, delicious food – and most importantly, a lot of fun raising money to support local communities.

SNOWSHOE FOUNDATION PROVIDES UPDATES FOR TREASURE ON THE MOUNTAIN FUNDRAISING FESTIVITIES

SNOWSHOE, W. Va – (July 14, 2020) – [FESTIVITIES CANCELLED, RAFFLE STILL ON!]
The Snowshoe Foundation has announced that this year’s Treasure On The Mountain festivities have been cancelled in accordance with Governor Jim Justice’s executive order 51-20, which prohibits all festivals, fairs, and gatherings of more than 25 people. Raffle drawings for the $300,000 in main ticket prizes will still take place and will be broadcasted via Snowshoe TV throughout Snowshoe Mountain Village and Lodging as well as on Facebook Live. Winners will also be announced on the Snowshoe Foundation app, website and social media.

SNOWSHOE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO ANNUAL TREASURE ON THE MOUNTAIN FUNDRAISING EVENT

SNOWSHOE, W. Va – (July 3, 2020) – The Snowshoe Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children, families, and community organizations in Pocahontas, Randolph, Webster and surrounding counties, has announced several COVID-19-related adjustments to their annual “Treasure On The Mountain” fundraising event to reduce contact and help facilitate social distancing in an effort to limit the spread of the virus.

Treasure on the Mountain Tentatively Planned to Continue on Scheduled Date

The Snowshoe Foundation Board met this week to further review plans for this year’s Treasure on the Mountain event currently scheduled for August 8, 2020. We realize guests, vendors and volunteers have been waiting patiently for updates related to this event and we appreciate your understanding at this time.

Snowshoe Foundation commits $30K to local food pantries

SNOWSHOE — The Snowshoe Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children, families, and community organizations in Pocahontas, Randolph, Webster and surrounding counties, has made an announcement in response to the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic. In lieu of their annual individual grants, the Foundation is donating $30,000 to local food pantries.
