The Snowshoe Foundation has announced that this year’s Treasure On The Mountain festivities have been cancelled in accordance with Governor Jim Justice’s executive order 51-20, which prohibits all festivals, fairs, and gatherings of more than 25 people. Raffle drawings for the $300,000 in main ticket prizes will still take place and will be broadcasted via Snowshoe TV throughout Snowshoe Mountain Village and Lodging as well as on Facebook Live. Winners will also be announced on the Snowshoe Foundation app, website and social media.

Va – (July 3, 2020) – The Snowshoe Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children, families, and community organizations in Pocahontas, Randolph, Webster and surrounding counties, has announced several COVID-19-related adjustments to their annual “Treasure On The Mountain” fundraising event to reduce contact and help facilitate social distancing in an effort to limit the spread of the virus.
