Snowshoe Mountain is installing a new lift on the original Powder Monkey lift location, and we are auctioning off 25 authentic Powder Monkey lift chairs to raise money for the Snowshoe Foundation!
Built in 1977, these Powder Monkey lift chairs will add a touch of nostalgia to your home or cabin. Rarely does an opportunity like this come along so don’t miss your chance to place a bid!
Chairs will be awarded to the 25 highest bids that we receive. The minimum price to bid will be $400. Bids under the minimum bid price will not be accepted. This auction is a blind bid, and no one will know the state of the bids. The deadline to bid is Friday, May 19 at 5:00pm. One chair per bid. Please submit a separate form for each chair you would like to bid on.
In the event of a tie for the 25th chair, the earliest bid submission will win. Successful bidders will be notified by email on Monday, May 22. This notification will include instructions for payment and chair pickup.
Chairs must be picked up at Snowshoe Mountain by appointment on May 27th, June 7th or June 8th. Chairs not picked up as scheduled will be forfeited.
All proceeds benefit the Snowshoe Foundation, which has given over $4 Million to worthy causes in the WV communities that surround Snowshoe.
