Financial need and other special circumstances may also be considered.
Support from the Snowshoe Foundation is given in the form of cash grants. Scholarship Grants from the Foundation can be used for tuition, books, and housing. Funding may also be used for other supplies that may be needed, such as computers, calculators, tools, and other supplies. Funding is provided for undergraduate, technical, and career education. We welcome applications for all types of education and training. Scholarships may be awarded up to $3,000.

Snowshoe Foundation Scholarships reduce financial hardship on students and families. The funding that we provide helps eliminate one of the most common barriers to pursuit of a quality college education. We strive to provide academic and professional development opportunities to give back to local communities. Generous donations from local businesses and residents enable our Foundation to continue to provide much-needed opportunities in our rural mountain communities. Scholarships are awarded at our annual Winter Benefit Dinner.
