Lighting Our Hearts Christmas Tree Fundraiser
CELEBRATE THE SEASON OF LIGHTS
The Snowshoe Foundation invites individuals, families, and businesses to purchase one of our beautiful, hand-selected trees to celebrate the season. Each tree includes an accompanying inscribed plaque with your holiday greeting or tribute. A limited number of trees with beautiful plaques will be available to purchase beginning on September 1, 2019. Trees will be displayed in the Snowshoe Village with their accompanying plaque and lights. They will remain lit during the holiday season for approximately 5-6 weeks. The tentative display dates for 2019 are: November 30 – January 7.
Express Your Love With a Touching Memorial Tribute
Release the love and deep feelings within your heart at our symbolic and touching Lighting Our Hearts Ceremony. During this Christmas and the following holiday season (through the new year), your public display of remembrance, tribute, and celebration of life is a fitting and meaningful way to express yourself. Sometimes words just are not enough.
Light Up Your Heart With Comforting Fellowship
All community members are invited to participate, and we also invite you to bring a toy to donate for local underprivileged children. This fundraiser helps to support the Holiday Toy Drive. We understand the pain that Christmas and the holiday season can bring for those who have lost a loved one. The temptation to avoid celebrating altogether can become overwhelming. However, many of our participants have found that participating in the Lighting Our Hearts Memorial Ceremony has been a step back toward the light and healing. Consider starting a new, heartwarming tradition. This event is a chance to share and receive tender comfort and fellowship from others who are also remembering someone precious during the holiday season. Light up your heart this Christmas.
